Offcall Leadership
Our team is passionate about building tools to help doctors deliver the best care to their patients.
Jake HorowitzCofounder, Chief Executive OfficerJake is a mission-driven entrepreneur who’s obsessed with solving big problems using technology. Prior to founding Offcall, he worked as an advisor and consultant to various venture-backed healthcare startups, where he witnessed firsthand how much frontline healthcare workers are struggling. Jake also previously cofounded Mic, a digital media company based in New York City. He graduated from Stanford University and now lives in San Francisco with his wife, who works as an emergency room nurse. When he’s not trying to improve healthcare, you can find Jake outside, whether it’s on a bike, hiking, or on an outdoor adventure with his growing toddler.
Dr. Graham WalkerCofounder, Host of How I DoctorDr. Graham Walker was inspired to co-found Offcall in response to the mounting challenges facing physicians in the wake of the pandemic — including burnout, dissatisfaction, loss of autonomy in clinical practice, and a decline in the quality of care delivery. He has practiced emergency medicine for 16 years, working at the intersection of medicine and technology to blend clinical expertise with technological innovation. A 2008 graduate of Stanford University School of Medicine, he completed his residency at St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital Center in New York City before returning to San Francisco, where he currently lives and practices. Graham also previously created two widely used medical tools: MDCalc and theNNT, both designed to provide healthcare professionals with free, immediate access to reliable medical information.
